Power Live

The Power LIVE photovoltaic plant is located on a 300,000 quare metre flat land next to the Izvoru village, Giurgiu County. Izvoru village is located in Southern Romania, close to Danube, in an area with one of the highest levels of solar radiation in Romania.

Transeastern Power Powerlive Project
Location Giurgiu, Romania
Energy Source and Capacity 9.6 MW Solar Park
Total Estimated Annual Production 12,194 MWh
Green Certificates Delivered 6.0/MWh (includes 2.0 GC/MWh deferred)

The photovoltaic plant is composed by 40,026 REC polycrystalline modules, each having a power capacity of 240 Wp. The modules are installed on galvanized steel structures: fixed azimuth 0, each module includes 10 SMA SC800CP-XT inverters, housed in an independent cabinet equipped with it's own cooling system. Each inverter feeds a TCS 800-DE transformer which is connected to the grid delivery point through underground cabling.

The combined installed capacity of the plant is 9,600 kWp. The total power generated by the plants is estimated to be 12,157 MWh per year. The Power LIVE Project receives 6 GCs per MWh supplied into the grid, with 2 GCs restricted from trading until March 2017. The plant has been fully operational since March 2013.
